paddlers shoved off from the cliff on the left. Look closely and you will see one of the
boats in mid-air as it makes the plunge.

Porter, owner/manager/bartender at Hoosiers Bar in Cooke City, Montana is the
descendent of the Hoosier (last name, not from Indiana) family which opened the
tavern in the early 20th Century. The old tavern building is one of the oldest structures
in Cooke. |
